Fun and Scenic Train Rides in Kingston and Phoenicia! Board our Esopus Scenic Train (May-Nov.) at Mt. Pleasant or Phoenicia and step back to a time when train travel was the only way to access the Catskills. Visit the Empire State Railway Museum housed in the Phoenicia station to learn more about this region’s history! Throughout the year we also offer the expanded Kingston Shuttle to help celebrate special events in the City of Kingston! The conductor checks his watch and the train whistle lets you know that your ride into history is about to begin!
